[synopsis] => Sammy and Ferret's story is primarily one of how to be responsible, while also having fun. His task of looking after the creatures of the forest, is to help them out whenever he can and keep them safe, even if he comes home later than he should.
However, Sammy still likes to play games and have fun with his friends, which, of course can land him in trouble.
Children will be able to identify with Sammy and his pet Ferret and they will laugh along with Sammy as he tries to get himself and Ferret out of trouble. Full of richly colored illustrations occupying just over half of every page children will laugh along with the antics and mischief of Sammy and Ferret while learning how to treat others with compassion and consideration.
Although Sammy has no idea that his day in the forest would take him into a friend's home unexpectedly, he and Ferret will need his friend's help to get them back home, safe and sound.
Sammy and Ferret's adventure is a delightful journey complete with memorable characters who are full of mischievous fun while the text and the pictures go hand in hand to convey the story's meaningfulness.
