Professor Karen Pelletier, eager to finally become tenured as an English professor at the exclusive Enfield College, is harassed by the police when her rival, Professor Joseph Lone Wolf, is found dead due to an overdose of peyote, and as she tries to survive an investigation, the political climate on campus becomes heated and increasingly dangerous.
